Whilst the UK was still very much adapting to life in the first few months post Covid lockdown, this small production embarked on a very short prep time to shoot David Hare's adaptation of his play to screen. Using David's studio as the central location, I worked closely with him to carefully adapt his personal writing environment into a space for cinematic story telling.

Having previously worked with Mike Eley, it was a wonderful opportunity to explore creating a more subtle backdrop for photographing such an intimate monologue.
