Snow in Paradise

I co-designed this with the Set Decorator Sophia Chowdhury. Our combined experience in Art direction, design and Set decoration seemed appropriate in such a character led story . The film was shot in 20 days in and around Hackney and made for 500k in 2013.

We were delighted to learn that the film was selected for Cannes a year later in Un Certain Regard category.

Finding the right locations were very much part of the look for this project. Our intention was to create many layers in each character's environment, sourcing the right place to begin with was very key in inspiring the final design.
